Dominion DX Group entered into a formal agreement with Jamestown 2007 on March 27, 2006. Following a dialogue that began in April 2005, DDXG was designated as an Official Statewide Partner, sanctioned to operate the official Special Event Station for America's 400th Anniversary celebration. In doing so, DDXG joined a distinguished list of partners. Further, DDXG entered into a licensing agreement, authorizing the use of the above Official Statewide Partner logo.

For it's part, DDXG has promoted the many Jamestown signature events - in person, through the internet and by manning displays and distributing materials. DDXG reached out to amateur radio attendees at the Richmond Frostfest, where the Virginia Section statewide convention was held. In its final push DDXG will invite amateur radio operators worldwide to participate in America's 400th birthday celebration via radio, as it mans the official Special Event Station for the weekend celebration on May 11 - 13, 2007.
